Discovering Your Next Step
Thank you for worshipping with us at Simpsonwood. We hope you found your worship experience to be inspiring and meaningful. Let us help you discover the NEXT STEP in your faith journey.
At Simpsonwood, our keys to spiritual growth are worship, small group discipleship, and service to others. Here you will find information related to these three key areas. If you have any questions about your worship experience or would like to speak with one of our pastors, please feel free to contact us.
WORSHIP
Currently, we are in the middle of a sermon series titled 2k13 Journey: Through the Bible in 52 Weeks. From January through December, we are studying the Bible together and learning about how each of us fits into God's story. You can learn more about this sermon series, and find resources to help with your personal study by clicking here.
On Sunday morning, we offer three worship services at our campus. On Monday nights at 7:00 PM, we provide a worship service at the chapel at Simpsonwood Conference and Retreat Center (located across the street from the church). For more information about our all of our worship services, visit our Worship page.
SMALL GROUP DISCIPLESHIP
We believe that spiritual growth happens best when we are engaged in small group discipleship. Whether a Sunday School class on Sunday morning or a weekly small group that meets in someone's home, our goal is for everyone who worships at Simpsonwood to be connected through a group where they can experience prayer, study, and accountability.
Our Sunday School classes study a variety of books and cover many different topics related to Christianity. Sunday School classes meet from 9:50-10:50 AM on Sunday mornings at our campus. To discover which class is the best fit for you and your family, visit our Adult Sunday School page or contact Rev. Amanda Garvin in the church office. Sunday School is also available for children of all ages, middle school students, and high school students.
Throughout the week, there are several small groups that meet on the church campus and all around the community in people's homes. Many of our small groups follow a discussion plan that is based on our current sermon series. If you would like to learn how you can become involved in a small group, visit our Small Groups page or contact Rev. Amanda Garvin in the church office.
SERVICE TO OTHERS
As we continue to grow in our faith and understanding of who Jesus Christ is, we discover that Jesus has called each of us into the ministry field to serve others. At Simpsonwood, we have partnered with over 20 different mission organizations who seek to help us carry out our mission statement: "To Know Christ and to Make Christ Known." Each month, our members and regular attenders serve the poor and homeless in downtown, fellowship with transitional families in Gwinnett County, and provide food and clothing to those less fortunate in our own community. In addition to meeting the local needs, Simpsonwood seeks to make a difference all around the world with missionaries in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, Tanzania, and Uganda.
No matter how old you are, we have a spot in missions for everyone. To discover how you and your family can get involved in serving others, please visit our Missions page or contact Matt Parker in the church office.

Simpsonwood is a place where people meet for a life-changing experience with God! We’re a group of individuals and families who connect with God through inspiring worship and small groups. We’re passionate about sharing the “good news” of Christ as we support each other and reach beyond our walls to serve others. We’re out in the community, across town, and around the world responding to human needs.
In our church, there's no dress code, fake pretenses, or perfect people. Our hearts ... our minds … our doors are always open -- everyone’s welcome!
