Worship Services

Sundays @ 8:45 a.m. -- Contemporary Worship

Contemporary Worship is a relaxed, informal setting that features upbeat, contemporary praise music led by our Praise Band.  The service also includes singing, prayer, Bible reading, and a relevant, inspirational message by one of our pastors.  On the first Sunday of each month, this service also offers a celebration of Communion (The Lord’s Supper).  Our Communion experience is open to everyone.

Sundays @ 11:00 a.m. -- Traditional Worship

Our Traditional Worship service offers the warmth of community in a more formal setting.  The service structure follows the United Methodist Basic Pattern of Worship. This includes a variety of musical styles, creeds, responsive litanies, prayers, and the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.  We celebrate Communion the first Sunday of each month. The communion experience is open to everyone.  Each service includes scripture reading and a relevant message from one of our pastors.

Sundays on Mondays 7:00pm in the Chapel at Simpsonwood Park Chapel

This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce Simpsonwood to a friend who is not currently connected to a church family.  So, if you missed Sunday in worship, and you are in town on Monday, join us at our Sunday on Monday service! The Sunday Sermon with Communion and less music.

Baptisms are arranged with the Pastors and can be scheduled for any worship service.

Worship at Simpsonwood is designed to inspire us to begin a new week of personal ministry with God’s blessings.
