Connect with One Another Locally and Globally

In addition to Sunday worship services and Sunday School classes, Simpsonwood UMC offers a variety of small groups and regular local and international mission activities. All of these provide opportunities to connect, worship, serve, enjoy fellowship, and care for one another and our community.

United Methodist Men at Simpsonwood UMC

Simpsonwood United Methodist Men’s group is open to every man and male youth in our congregation and our community, the men who visit our Church, and any man who wants to grow in his relationship with God or to help in our mission outreach.

Women’s Ministry at SUMC

The newly revamped Women’s Ministry at Simpsonwood is a place for all women to interact, build faith and experience fellowship and love.  They embrace Encouragement, Prayer, Service and Study to serve the church, the community and all women in the church.  From planned events to mission work to small groups, this women’s ministry thrives and invites every woman to be active in the ministry.

L.I.F.E. Group at Simpsonwood UMC

L.I.F.E. Ministry (Living In Full Effectiveness) is Simpsonwood’s ministry for empty nesters and older adults. We embrace the fact that within the transitions our lives take, every day is an opportunity to walk with Christ and enhance our spiritual journey. Our L.I.F.E. Ministry is a dynamic group of women and men who regularly enjoy trips, fellowship, and community service activities. We’re a “family within a family” as we support one another and thrive during this wonderful stage of life.

We were created to be in community. Through participation in these groups you will find a community of fellow believers who desire to grow deeper in their relationship with God. Wesley Fellowship Groups are small groups of 8-12 people, mixed gender, and are open to anyone who desires to participate. These groups meet weekly for 1.5-2 hours, from August to May.
