Come On Over Bring Friends, Explore & Serve With Us Learn About Jesus

Simpsonwood UMC Student Ministry

We encourage open hearts, open minds, & open doors to create a supportive environment where it is safe to ask questions, investigate, and get to know Jesus. In addition to our weekly activities, we host annual retreats for both Middle School Students and High School Students. Our youth participate in a variety of service and mission activities throughout the year and have an opportunity to travel on the annual Youth Mission trip each summer. Through all youth activities we provide leadership opportunities and encourage students to remain engaged and lead others to seek Christ and to know Him more. Contact Bryan Coats, Director of Student Ministries or Emma Hill, Assistant Director of Student Ministries, for more information.

Confirmation

Classes begin in early January and go through Palm Sunday. Anyone 6th Grade or above is invited and encouraged to join us to start their confirmation journey! Confirmation is a three year process that always takes place during the spring semester. Youth are challenged to develop their own faith and the classes will focus on creation, sin, and redemption.

If you were a part of Year 1 class, you are expected to join us for Year 2.  If you were a part of Year 2, you are expected to join us for Year 3.
