We are smack dab in the middle of a transition – in the middle of change. And as we heard it so eloquently stated on Sunday “the only people who like change are babies with a dirty diaper!”

There is no doubt, change is hard.  But it is something we must endure.  And often any type of change causes our anxieties to bubble up.  We begin to worry, and think about every possible outcome of this change – Good and bad outcomes, logical and illogical outcomes, rational and irrational outcomes! Change can be such an emotional rollercoaster!

Let me invite you to rest in a truth found in Scripture.

“Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.”  2 Timothy 2:11-13 (NIV)

Even in the midst of our change, GOD IS STILL GOD!!  And God is STILL GOOD!!

God remains faithful to the promise of goodness even in the midst of our change. When we feel like we are in the midst of chaos, God is our peace.

I pray that this promise from God encourages you, calms you, and grants you deep, and lasting peace!
