Opportunities to Serve

Here are a few ways THIS MONTH you can serve inside or outside the walls of our church.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN YOUTH MINISTRY (9:50-10:50 am)
Even if you can’t help year-round, we could use a couple extra during the Confirmation semester. Youth Ministries can also use substitutes (as-needed), drivers (for special events), & retreat chaperones. If there is any capacity the Holy Spirit may be leading you to serve our 6th-12th graders; we would be blessed by your participation. Contact Chris Mixer

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN CHILDREN’S MINISTRY (9:50-10:50) / KIDZ TIME (during worship)
Sunday School: Sunday School is from 9:50 – 10:50AM.  Additional leader needed for the 3’s/4’s class. Help with teaching lesson, crafts, etc. Great group of kids and a fun opportunity. Class meets in RM #102 in Building B (bottom floor).  Need to be at least 18 years old.  Contact Bryan Coats

Kidz Time: After the Children’s Sermon during Worship, children attend Kidz Time. Additional leader needed to serve alongside Bryan Coats. October 1, 10-11 am: MAKE AN IMPACT
Do you have a heart for children? Are you considering how you might spend an hour or two a week to make a difference for our local children? Join those at SUMC who are already engaged in our local public schools to talk about some new and exciting opportunities for our church to make an impact in our cluster. Statistics and specific needs will be shared. RSVP to Wendy Willis
