Susan Allen Grady

Susan Allen Grady

Susan Allen Grady is a Untied Methodist PK (Preacher’s Kid) from right here in the North Georgia Conference. Susan grew up in small towns all over north Georgia, but she claims Madison and Camp Glisson as home.

Susan was Ordained Elder in Full Connection in 2006, the 50th anniversary of the Methodist Tradition granting full clergy right to women. This was, and is, a proud distinction for Susan. Susan was one of the youngest clergy to receive ordination that year.

Susan is married to her Co-Pastor, David Allen Grady. They share the unique distinction of being one of the few couples to Co-pastor in the North Georgia Conference. They will celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2021. Together they look forward to the exciting adventure of ministering at Simpsonwood UMC and seeing how their tradition of Family Fridays evolves as their daughter Joy turns 13.
