Introducing Emma Hill, Assistant Director of Student Ministries
Emma Hill has been a member of Simpsonwood since 2001. Her parents, Kevin Hill and Patti Elrod-Hill, have been a very active Simpsonwood family. Emma received a degree in Athletic Training and Psychology from the University of Georgia where she was an active member of the Wesley Foundation. Through this foundation she was able to become a youth leader and develop her passion for youth ministry. Emma has also worked as the client services coordinator with the Elrod-Hill Law Firm, assisted as the UGA football intern for rehabilitation and evaluation of athletic injuries, worked as a social media intern at the Butterfly Dreams Farms Therapeutic Center, and served as a Camp All-America counselor. Experience in these past positions has developed her leadership, management and team building skills. Since graduation she has been volunteering with Simpsonwood’s youth and children’s ministries. During the past school year, Emma has also worked as a teacher in our preschool. Emma is very excited as she accepts this new opportunity and challenge to serve in the staff position of Assistant Director of Children’s and Youth Ministry. She looks forward to developing deeper relationships with the young people of our church as well as forming new friendships with the congregation and volunteers.
