WHAT WE BELIEVE
As a United Methodist congregation, Simpsonwood shares a great deal with other churches.
As part of the United Methodist denomination, we also have a unique heritage and areas of emphasis rooted in grace, serving people around the world, and faith in Jesus as a life-long journey.
Worship
With music that stirs the soul, words that inspire, and prayers offered, worship connects us to God and reminds us of just how much we are loved.
Grow
Gather with neighors and friends - old and new - to listen, respond, and grow as friends and followers of Jesus.
Serve
Stock a food pantry, distribute cold water at a community event, serve in a developing country. Jesus said when we serve our neighbors, we're serving him, as well.
Our Practices
Service - Prayer - Worship
We believe that life happens, together. Gathering for worship, serving at the local food pantry, walking in the park, gathering for a Bible Study, or sharing over a cup of coffee, we have a need to connect with God and each other.
Our Christian Beliefs
United Methodists share a common heritage with all Christians. According to our foundational statement of beliefs found in The Book of Discipline, we share the following basic affirmations in common with all Christian communities.
